Hiddleston's Army

A version of this was already e-mailed to the specified address for submitting our letters, but I thought I’d add this so anybody else who was unsure of what to say could see my rambling mess and realize that whatever they put out will be ok. 

Hello Tom Hiddleston!! Or, as I prefer, Hiddles :D. Surely you are aware of that nickname by now. Anyway, my name is Paige, I’m 20 years old, am an Art History major, and I am very nervous but excited to be writing this to you! I have never written a fan letter before, in truth I’ve never given it much thought to anybody. However, your awesomeness combined with my ability to connect to your fan base has won me over. That being said, I’m afraid that this missive is going to be rather short. Though I have many things that I have thought of to say to you via letter, not all of them will be addressed here. I fully plan to send my own individual letter at some later date, and therefore cannot say all that I want to here, or I’m afraid I’ll run out of things to say to you (and let’s face it, they’re probably pretty unoriginal as it is). 
Why am I writing this then? Because my handwriting is terrible. Heh, just kidding (Ok, that was lame, though I do have less than stellar handwriting). The real reason is because I simply could not pass up the opportunity. While browsing Tumblr (we love you on Tumblr) I somehow or another ran across a Hiddles fan-page that had the inkling of sending this book to you (and as the due date for entries is December 1st, I’m assuming it’ll be a Christmas present. Yay Christmas! In that case, Merry Christmas, by the way!). I liked the idea of your tumblr fans getting together to basically send you a book of “warm fuzzies”, so I immediately decided that I was going to be apart of this. I’m very proud to part of this fandom, and of course there is no fandom without you. So, finally, on to you. Again, I will go into more detail with my letter that I will send sometime later, but here is (some of) what I admire about you:

• You genuinely seem kind, humble, and you take the time for your fans. You don’t make them seem like any kind of burden. 
• You have a fantastic smile, it’s quite infectious. (And yes, I’ll get the fan-girling over with and admit that you’re a handsome fellow).
• You have fantastic acting abilities. The little subtleties that you do…just…you’re great. Unfortunately that’s all I can really say about your acting right now as I have more planned for my later letter.
• You play the piano. I play the piano too and I absolutely adore it. I immediately gained 10x more respect for you when I heard this (ok, so maybe it just made me think you were cooler, but learning an instrument does earn you some respect—it isn’t easy to do.)

Oh, point two of writing this: I missed “Hearts for Hiddles”—so here’s my “Hearts for Hiddles” picture:( The thing in the background is a small Phoenix quilt my mother made me. Pretty, yes?)
Ok, this is much longer than I ever though it would be, and now I shudder at the amount of writing that may be at hand for your letter (though to be fair I let myself ramble in this, which I’m obviously pretty good at). Before I wrap up, a question (which was not on my original list for my letter—woo! thinking on my toes): Do you like cats? (It’s just a curiosity of mine, and I personally love cats). Though I know you are terribly busy and probably have a lot of fan mail to answer in this “book” let alone in general, if you so desire to write some sort of reply to me I would of course be excited to receive it. Ok, to finish briefly: You are a wonderful actor, I’m glad you were given this opportunity, I look forward to seeing you in movies in the future, and the best of luck to you!

I know you don’t know any of us, and will probably never meet any of us, but I want you to know that you have affected all of us in ways you can’t even imagine. You are someone we look up to and respect, not just “fangirl” over. You are an amazing person and everyone should more be like you. Thank you for being you. Never change.

sorry, I’ve been away from this account for so long. I haven’t forgot the fanbook, bur I was busy, and I though not doing it anymore, and with all these stuff about him in NY and everyone meeting him I felt depress but I thought “hell no, darling, even if you are far away, you have to show him how much you love him” and I really want to do this

so, it’s time, darlings. be preparing your letters, short fics, drawings, anything. and send them to hiddlestoners@hotmail.com. the deadline is in December the 1st.
if anyone need some help, let me tell you..
this is going to be a book of what we feel, don’t be afraid to make mistakes, this is not about what’s right or wrong, those are your feelings, and they are right, no matter how do you want to show them.
but if you don’t know how to start a letter, try this:
I know, some of you (or most of you.. all of you!) think about Hiddles every day, and the way he make you feel. no matter when or where, if you have an idea, write it down. you can carry a notebook if you want, and write everytime, then, you can assemble the letter like a puzzle.

I’ve been feeling sad and it is helping me to write again a letter, the most sincere letter I’ve ever written.

If you need and want, I can give you an advice, just send an ask or an e-mail and I’ll be there for you.

Your letter or fanfic can be as short as you want but the extension should be something like 10 pages, maybe 15. normal fount, like Arial.

If you want to send a picture, it can be a picture of your self showing him in a creative form how much you love him, maybe with a costume, a shirt or a picture of you with your colection of Tom/loki stuff.

but if you want to draw something, it can be anythin. except, please, porn stuff, we don’t know what he might think  or if he gets offended, and we are going to try to be respectful to his person. 

please, don’t send edited hiddles pictures. I know that some of you are very good at photoshop, but he knows who he is, and even if you do a good work editing pictures, it would be better if you send something you have made with your own hands. or if you want to send a picture of you with him it’s ok.

every work shoul be send with a name, it can be your nick name and your real name or only one of both, you decide, where are you from and if you want to add your age it’s ok. but if you want to write your e-mail or your blog address it shoudl be inside the letter, not in puctures. and please, puctures and drawings must be in a good resolution to be printed. (like 300 pixels/inch). not pictures of webcam, unless it has a very high resolution (more than 5 mpx)

if you want to publish what you are going to send, tag it like “hiddles fanbook” :D

And don’t forget, this book is to show him that we are a big family, and we love him as an actor and as human being.

Phh, I know some hiddlestoners have already sent letters and some others have received replies, but this thing about the fanbook continues

if you forgot to add something to your letter, or if you had to write a short letter, well, you can start writing again and make a longer letter

there are no specifications yet, just start writing

I have and advice: every time you think about something you want to put in the letter, write it, anywhere, so you won’t forget it
